MGMT announced their return this week with the release of new album ‘Congratulations’, the album has been released to some mixed reviews. The artwork looks like it has been done by a child and wouldn’t look out of place on the front cover on a Sonic the Hedgehog sega game.
Anyway whatever the critics say ‘Brian Eno’ is easily the best track on the record and despite MGMT saying there would be no singles on this album this could easily be a big sing along across several festivals this summer. It is the stand out track on the album and it is a real shame the rest of the album wasn’t more like ‘Brian Eno’, just in general. You can stream the album here (Spotify users).
